About me

Hi, I’m Allegra Fenton-Menzies!

I’m a Melbourne-based designer, animator, and multimedia generalist who loves bringing ideas to life or just giving things a visual refresh.

Having been into creative things since I was young, I decided to shift my career fully into the arts after studying animation in 2021. Animation and motion graphics gave me a whole new way to tell stories, add personality and, honestly, just make things more fun. The options are truly limitless!

To date, I’ve worked across everything from branding and illustration to animation and multimedia productions. Some of these have been for clients, some are personal passion projects, and others are just experimental ideas that refuse to leave my brain until I make it real.

Education

2021-2024

Bachelor of Design
RMIT

I majored in animation and interactive media. During the course we learnt 2D animation, 3D animation, motion graphics, stop motion, storyboarding, character design, backgrounds and branding. I specialised in 2D animation and motion graphics.

2015-2018

Bachelor of Arts
University of Melbourne

I majored in politics and international relations and minored in Russian language and culture. Even though I didn’t go down that career path, it gave me a broader lens on the world and has helped shape how I understand politics, economics, and social issues today.
